Packing for Our Family Holiday

In the pit of financial doom, it’s good to know that holidays are still affordable, particularly when the stress of the economic climate means we need them more than ever. I recently went on holiday to the coral sea resort egypt with my family. It was safe to say that we all had a great time. It started out as a bit hectic for me since we booked it last minute to get the best deal, which meant a mountain of washing for me to do. With all the washing to get done, the holiday soon crept up and it was time to start packing. My husband and I made a deal that I would pack the kid’s bags if he packed ours. I’d rather I went without something than the kids and packing wasn’t really my husbands specialist subject. We packed them the night before we left so we were ready to go.

We Might Need to Extend Our Stay

When we started looking at Phuket Hotels so we could decide which one to stay at, it was pretty easy to make our decision. We went to a website that listed all of the hotels as well as their locations, amenities, and customer reviews. The best part is there were pictures of all the hotels which is what really made it easy for us. We decided to stay at Amora Resort because it was a tropical haven. It was right on the beach, but it also had two large pools in case we didn’t want to go to the beach one day. We also liked that the hotel staff could arrange certain activities for us such as elephant trekking and horse riding as well as rafting and sea canoeing. There are so many things that we want to see and experience that we may just need to extend our stay!

Get Me Anywhere but Here!

I’ve worked in the United Kingdom for the past couple of years thanks to an overseas posting I accepted from the corporation back in the States, and it is nice to live and work in a foreign country. What isn’t nice about England is the weather. I know people joke about the fog and the rain, but they aren’t that far off in their assessment. When a colleague suggested I take a trip to Ibiza with his family, I could have swooned straight to the ground! Finally, a trip to a place where the sun shines warm and there are new sights to see. Israel Group Tours

I started toying with the idea of going on one of those Israel Christian tours about half a year ago. The minister in our parish told us about his amazing adventure in Israel – traveling through Jerusalem, Jordan and all those biblical places – and I thought I would want to experience those things for myself. They are quite costly, though, and a working student like me could never afford to splurge on such trips. I did find out that there are group tours that are discounted and strips off a lot of costs for individual participants. So, I went on a quest in our parish and some of my friends to build a group of at least 10 to join me in my Israel journey. Some people would think I have selfish motivations, but really, this kind of trip would definitely be even more amazing if you get to share it with other people.
